Mobiles Installation Instructions

Thank you for installing the mobiles. This page is made to assist you in unpacking and installing the mobiles.

These sculptures are delicate. They are individually wrapped in plastic bags. Please remove the plastic bags gently from the tissue paper wrapper. Each sculpture is to be hung by a hook which is attached to a name tag. Before taking the sculpture out of the tissue wrapper, have a place to suspend the sculpture ready. Hang the sculpture with a monofilament (not included) by the hook/loop as you pull up the sculpture out of the packaging to prevent tangling.

The sculptures are constructed with hook-and-loop connections. Starting from the top arm, please check every joint and make sure the hooks sit at the bottom of the loop so that the sculptures have their intended balance. Please correct any hook that sits at the top of the loop by turning it along the loop. (The left photo shows the incorrect connection where the hook sits at the top of the loop. The right photo shows the corrected hook position)

Each sculpture is individually constructed to balance and to move with the air movement. If sculptures look stiff or pulled down to one side, some of the joins may be sitting incorrectly. Please check each joint again.

The sculptures have some delicate components. Some thinner wire may bend during the shipment. Please  straighten by running your thumb and index finger along the wire.
